Leslie 147 rotary speaker cabinet - vintage early 1970’s, two speeds (chorale and tremelo) Hamptone LPRE3 Dual Output Vacuum Tube Preamp foot switch for Leslie Speaker. Currently selling for $399 used at reverb.com. Power and interface cables Hammond oil Organ and Rotary Speaker in very good condition. I bought them separately in Mesa, AZ about 14-15 years ago. Played them for a year or two, and they’ve sat unused in my living room ever since. The wood finish for both is very good considering their ages. The A-102 and bench are the French Provincial model in what I would call pecan finish. The Leslie 147 is in dark cherry and does not match the Organ. Speed control for the Leslie is achieved via the Hamptone LPRE3 foot switch rather than the typical half moon switch. That’s because the Leslie came from a home studio where it was mostly used with guitars. I put it on a small side table where I can control it with my left hand. Half moon switches are relatively inexpensive should you want to install one. The Hammond A-100 series organs were the home version of the famous Hammond B3 and C3 organs that were used in thousands of churches and countless gospel, blues, rock, and jazz bands and music tracks. The A-series organs have every feature of the B3/C3 plus four 15 inch speakers. Refurbishment: over the past month or so I’ve brought this organ back into playing condition. It had not been played or oiled for 12 years and would not start. I oiled the tone generator using Hammond oil and itwould grudgingly start after 5 or 6 tries. However, there were a dozen tonesmissing, the upper manual presets would not latch down, and the volume pedalwas not working. I am not a Hammond tech, but a local 80 year old Hammondrepair guy with decades of experience helped me over the phone. With his adviceI tracked down 12 stuck tonewheels, loosened them, and fixed the otherproblems. There was some chattering in the run motor/vibrato scanner area. Ioiled that, and it’s almost entirely gone away with use. I think I’ve priced the organ/speaker fairly, so no low-balloffers. If you are just a looker, please don’t waste my time. I don’t wish tosell them separately, but would consider selling the Organ first. Notinterested in trades or services. This organ and speaker are available for local pickup only. The organ itself weighs over 400 lbs. I will not ship or deliver. I am unableto help load, so you will have to come prepared with a truck, a dolly, and acouple of strong helpers. A lift gate truck would be best. I will show you howto lock down the tone generator for transportation. Due to the age of this equipment I make no guarantees orwarranties as to its continued operation. Sold as is, where is. P.S., Included are the original back panels for both organand speaker. KEYWORDS: A100, B3, C3, 122, 142, 145, tonewheel, rotary,RT3, B2, C2
