CIRCA: 1930s CONDITION: Our lovely Hall China Wild Poppy / Poppy and Wheat No. 3 covered jug was produced by The Hall China Company in the 1930s. The decals are fantastic!!!. The color is vivid and the glaze is nice and even. This jug is hard to find in the No. 3 size. This pretty piece is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. The inside of the jug is nice and clean. This jug looks to have never been used. Wild Poppy (1930s) Wild Poppy is a pretty decal kitchenware pattern with an extensive listing of pieces. Wild Poppies are nestled among wild wheat to create this charming decal. The color combination of burnt orange with green fits in with many kitchen color schemes. If one wated to collect all of the pieces of this pretty pattern they could easily fill up several china cupboards or completely decorate a large kitchen area. The pattern was introduced in the mid to late 1930s and was sold through Macy's department stores which explains why you find more of this pattern in the New York area.
