Description: Guyatone Japan Vintage Stratocaster / Electric Guitar / made in 1970s Description Condition: Used This is a Japanese vintage from the 1970s. It seems to have been a high-end model of Guyatone. The lower-end model has a mille-feuille body, but the higher-end model is solid wood. There was a lot of good wood at the time, and the rosewood fingerboard has a density and color that is incomparable to modern ones, which I think is wonderful. The combination of good wood and alnico pickups produces a very good sound. It has what is called a "mature tone" or "vintage sound." To my amateur eye, I think it is in a fairly good condition. Since it is a vintage item, there are some tarnish on the metal parts and small scratches on the body, but I don't think there is any major damage. There are no cracks in the neck joint. The biggest scratch is the paint peeling where the right elbow rests. (Please check the image.) The frets have not worn down at all, so I think they have been re-strung. Currently, the neck is straight, the string height is low, and it is very easy to play. There is no scratching noise in the electrical system. I bought it second-hand, so I don't know the details, but I think it has been adjusted in various ways. I think the parts are basically almost original.
