Description: This is a Gretsch 6119 Tennessean 1963 model with the original case . The same year model that George Harrison played.I just had the guitar set up with new strings . Low action neck is straight. Comes with some of the original paper work.Serial number 57148 . The guitar is all original .Fake F Holes Rosewood fret board.2 original Hilo-tron pickups .The guitar is in great condition for a 61 year old guitar .There is some dings and scratches on back of the neck .Normal play ware on back of the guitar dings , scratch’s. Hard to show up in the pictures.Light buckle rash on the back . You have to tilt the guitar to see .The bridge is low is it will go but the action is great . Plays awesome.Minor fret ware on the first 4 frets .Some of the binding is turning brown and there is some checking cracks on the binding . I had custom fretted instruments put a clear coat over the binding to keep the original binding from future deterioration. This is common with old gretsch guitars .You can get that George Harrison sound for sure with this guitar.Everything works on the guitar . Sold as is . No returns .
