Description: This is a late 19th Century Desk of Table Top Thermometer from the Grand Tour Era that is mounted on a grey/green marble base. It is a very well-cast bronze figure from that period when too many decorations in your home were not enough! I have strong reason to believe this was made in the shop of Freres Le Blanc; but it is not signed and without that I cannot certify its provenance. I have however handled enough pieces from this time period to recognize the quality of both the materials and workmanship. It measures 5.5” W x 4” D by 8” Tall. My Items are as found. Please look carefully at the pictures and request additional pictures or specific information if needed. There is very minimal age appropriate ware, and it is in overall good condition for its age. The mercury glass has been replaced at some point in the past. Please use the pictures as the best description of condition. Questions are always welcome.
