Description: This is a wonderful Arts and Crafts pin by the Gorham Company started in the 1830's in Rhode Island. A Mr. Goodman brought the store to a more art nouveau and arts and crafts standard in the late 1800's early 1900's with more hand wrought master silversmiths to work for the company. This appears to be one of such creations. It is reported to be c. 1910. The pin measures 2" in length and 3/4" in height. It has a nice patina. Very slight bend to the back clasp bar however this in no way effects function. Lovely, historical pin! Hallmarked on the reverse as STERLING-HAND WROUGHT-THE GORHAM CO. Free shipping within the USA.
