Creates a 1911 grip angle, The beaver tail is the ideal length to prevent slide bite while still allowing your thumb to sweep past it without a knuckle hotspot, improved downward force, enhanced grip due to the horizontal traction lines and overall rough texture, optimal trigger finger reach, no extra width to the grip. Easy disassembly for cleaning and maintenance. The original WahrerGriff g43x / 48 backstrap. Made in the USA The WahrerGriff (True Grip) has zero impact on the mechanical function. No pins. All safeties are intact. It is held on by very low tolerance friction, industrial double sided tape and your grip. I’ve never had one come off (unless I wanted it to) in the 10 months that I’ve been EDC’ing it. Cleaning the internals is a breeze.
