Description: Brilliant and classic bossa nova record--the album that broke these two great artists into the American market. All in Portuguese, with translations on the back. Gilberto (husband to Astrud, who doesn't appear on this record) was a legendary Brazilian guitarist/singer and Jobim's orchestra accompanies him here; Jobim also wrote most of the songs. You get the original versions of "One Note Samba," "Quiet Nights Of Quiet Stars/Corcovado" and "Outra Vez" (Once Again)--and many more. Playtested in full. Played very well overall. No big scratches or skips, nice Capitol sound quality. Vinyl looks pretty clean and glossy, especially side 1. We grade it VG+. Jacket, also VG+; very slight wear, former owner's name neatly written at the front top (on the white edge), one price sticker, very clean, no smells or stains or splits. We send LPs via USPS media mail, very safely packed. We can send up to 5-6 albums in one box, at base $6 shipping price plus $1 for each additional disc. We play test most of our albums and our grading reflects that. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
