Description: This is the original first edition of Gevril's Sea Cloud. It was a limited edition of only 500 made. This is #37. This all Swiss watch has the 51 jewels and uses the Dubois-Depraz 2025 cal. and ETA 2824-2 chronograph movement. This watch in the chronograph edition is hard to find, especially from the original owner and in this great condition. Owner: 63 y/o female who loves large automatic watches and has been a collector since 1999. I bought this watch new back when it first came out. I have not worn it much. It's been rotated on and off an automatic watch winder that stops and starts in a cycle. It is in excellent condition. There are some light scuffs on the bracelet and caseback that are not easily noticeable without examining the watch closely in a good light. The case and bracelet are made of very shiny stainless steel that is hard to photograph due to reflections of the surroundings. I tried to get the best photos, including some outside in the sun in order to accentuate the scuffs. Brand: Gevril. Model: 3103. Movement: Swiss 51 jewel automatic GV 7B89 (Dubois-Depraz 2025 with ETA 2824-2) Chronograph Functions: 12 hour, 30 minute, 60 second. Water Resistance: To 200 ATM. Dial: Beautiful flat black color with round texture and three black subdials. "Gevril" is imprinted in silver, "Automatic", and "200 MT 660 FT" are imprinted in white on the dial. Hands: Stainless steel hour and minute hands with white luminous covering, stainless steel second hand with luminous covering on pointer. Markers: Large white luminous Roman numeral at 12, large white luminous stick markers at hours, small white Arabic numerals and stick indices around edge of dial. Crystal: Anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Bezel: Unidirectional satin and polished stainless steel with raised stainless steel Arabic numerals at 5 minute intervals. A raised pyramid-like marker is at 12 o'clock position. Case: Polished solid 316 L stainless steel. Case Dimensions: 44 mm including crown, 40 mm without crown. The thickness appears to be about 12 mm per my own measuring. Case Back: Polished stainless steel screwed down. The Gevril logo "G" is engraved in the center with "CHRONOGRAPH", "SWISS MADE", above and "LIMITED EDITION", "037/500" above."WATER RESISTANT 200M", "R002", and "STAINLESS STEEL" are engraved around edge of caseback. Crowns: Screw down polished 316 L stainless steel. Two chronograph screw down crowns at 2 and 4 o'clock positions. Bracelet: Brushed and Polished surgical 316 L stainless steel for up to about 8 inch wrist. See info just below. Measures about 20mm wide and 22 mm wide between lugs. Thickness appears to be about 3 to 4 mm. Wrist Size: All links that came with watch new are included in this sale. I measured the inside of the bracelet with clasp closed. Should fit about a 7 3/4 inch wrist as is or up to an 8 inch wrist with the included last link installed. Closure: Polished surgical 316 L stainless steel deployant clasp with button release and flip-lock closure. The "G" logo is engraved in the corner of the clasp. Box: Comes in its original Gevril silver watch box with "G" and "GEVRIL" imprinted on the top in black. The inside is upholstered in black velvet-like material. Outer Box: The silver box comes inside its original white outer sleeve. Papers: All original papers that I received including the Gevril booklet. Warranty: The watch is not under warranty. Condition: Excellent condition. As previously stated, there are some superficial scuffs/scratches, see photos taken in the sun that accentuate all marks and even shows the brushing on the bracelet well.This watch runs well. I wore it maybe 10 times over the years. It has never needed service or repair so the case has never been opened.
