This was used with Bordpost / on-board cancel from the first day of the flight. According to Michel, May 6 is also the known last day of Graf mail, though the flight didn't end until May 8 (which, BTW, must have been quite worrisome for the passengers. Like being on an airplane on 9-11). Slightly worn, very good condition. '17 CV EUR130 with colorful franking, including the Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) set. This is from the estate of the nephew of Oberingenieur Karl Beuerle, a lead mechanic on the Zeppelin. A long-time airman, having survived serving in various WWI Zeppelin airships, he was with the Graf from the start (we have several pioneer usages as well!). We were lucky enough to purchase the entire Zeppelin collection of the nephew, who took all of "Onkel Karl's" correspondence and added to it with many further flights (such as this one).
