Description: George Jones Pink & Yellow Carnations & Gold 8 3/4 Inch Plate C.1874-1891 Nice antique British bone china plate. Decorated with hand colored pink and yellow carnation flowers over a white background. With clouded gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with an impressed GJ and Sons crescent mark and a printed Stoke GJ & Sons Crescent China Mark. This mark was used by George Jones between 1874 and 1891. Also has the pattern number in red. Has wear consistent with age and use and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. AW
