She received many personal photos, signed magazines, signed posters and handmade photo collages of the movies with the custom cars he designed. I have included photos of the envelope and letterhead that George used to send the items to them to show authenticity - NOT included in the sale, just used for reference. Car Craft October 1959 – Barris Kustom Restyles the ’58 Chevrolet article on page 36 signed by George Barris. Rod & Custom March 1963 – Barris builds a Landau Starburst custom from a ’63 Ford Fairlane 500 for Ford Motor Co. Signed article photo on page 26 Rod & Custom August 1964 “Barris Builds A Surf Woody” article, signed by George Barris. Article with pictures follow the construction of the wild new rod from Barris Kustom City. Article on page 12, signature on page 13 as shown in photos. Motor Life January 1958 – cover photo with George includes article on “Customizing Wheels With Color” on page 56.
