Description: Genuine Stainless Steel WW2 US Military 1945 Dated VOLLRATH Canteen with its Original Cap and Original OD Fabric Cover Perfect for any World War II re-enactor or for a static display in a museum or elsewhere, this is a very nice 1945 dated stainless steel canteen complete with its bakelite cap and chain as well as a fine dated old-style canvas cover with an old WW2 style cartridge belt attachment, rather than the modern dual clips. The canteen is clearly marked U.S. VOLLRATH 1945 on the bottom. Our clear photos will give any potential buyer a very good idea about the wonderful condition of the canteen, cap and the cork inside it, and the chain. The sturdy OD canvas cover is in nice used condition and has its original lift-the-dot snaps and belt hook. We can not decipher the manufacturer’s stamp below the hooks on the back. The case shows light honest use which is obvious in our pictures. Complete and in very good used condition, exactly as shown in our many excellent photographs.
