Genuine NOS Serotta Ultra Thin Bike Frame Decals OEM White / Black Stickers

Description: This set is White with Black outlines. This is one of a variety of color schemes I have these in - refer to my other listings for other options. I have some partial sets of various less common color schemes. I sell these as double sets because they are tricky to apply. This sale includes: 4 - Large "Serotta" downtube decals (10 3/16 x 1 3/16")4 - Medium "Serotta" seat tube decals (6 3/4 x 3/4")4 - Small "Serotta" chain stay, seat stay, or top tube decals (4 1/2 x 1/2")2 - Large Headtube "S" decals (1 1/2 x 2 1/8")DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SMALL "S" Decals in the picture, I'm out of those I have model specific top tube decals in many variations - "Legend" "Ottrott" "Meivici" etc. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll let you know if I have it. I also have fork decals - "Serotta F3" variations and also the small "S" decals in some colors, material decals (that sit new the intersection of the seat tube and top tube "Colorado C4Ti" etc.). "Handmade in the USA" decals. Some of the vintage font decals, some of the latest/last generation decals and others. These are new old stock and have been sitting around for awhile. They still stick and hold well but are really tricky to apply. I sell them as double sets in case you damage any during installation. I've included some instructions (below) but it's really best to have them put on by a professional. These are very thin and made to go under the clearcoat on a painted frame. They do fine when used without clearcoat but are fairly easy to nick and damage if you're not careful. Some of the sheets have some old rubber band residue that does not affect functionality. SEE PICS. RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION (if you're a pro and have a better technique please let me know!)1. Thoroughly clean application surface - isopropyl alcohol works well just make sure it's completely dry before the next step. And make sure both the frame and decals are at room temperature or above, warm is good. Don’t be afraid to use a hair dryer. 2. Measure your placement with pencil to help guide you or be very careful about your placement as it will likely not be possible to move your decal once applied. 3. Remove the front sheet from the decal to expose the sticky / down side of the decal - the proper side will come off easily. 4. Carefully remove the paper backing so you are looking at a thin piece of clear plastic with the decals exposed on it (this side is much trickier to remove because the plastic is so thin). 5. Carefully position and apply the decal by gently rubbing from the center out to avoid trapping air bubbles. 6. Using your finger or a clean dry cloth with fast, small circular strokes - the heat and pressure will help bond the decal to the surface and release it from the backing.7. Making sure to keep the decal in place carefully peel it back the long way making sure that it's adhering as you go along by rubbing it with your finger nail or credit card. It's okay if they tear a little - as long as you keep it properly lined up - you won't see the tears. Usually it's the pointy edges that are the trickiest parts to get started. Be especially careful not to lose your placement towards the end of the decal as less material will be holding it in place. 8. Gently rub the decal to make sure all the edges are secure - you should be able to see which need help. Small air bubbles should go away with a little time. Bigger ones can be carefully popped with a pin and smoothed out. 9. Avoid major abrasion for a week or so - it takes several days to a week for the decal to properly set. Probably best to wait a few days before clear coating as well. GOOD LUCK! If you make a mistake - no worries, that’s why I sell them as double sets.
