We physically apply all grease/oil and seals on bearings (unless stated otherwise). Our bearings are made of 440 Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Balls or Ceramic Ball (depending on type). Deep grooved and designed for speed of up-to 50k RPMs. Stainless steel can withstand dirt, heat, and moisture better than standard steel or chrome bearings. We offer our signature PURPLE rubber seal, metal shields, one of each side, or no shields. (Currently our PURPLE rubber shields will not be manufactured until further notice. We will be using Blue, Black, Orange, and Purple rubber seals and have “IMRC” etched into our bearings. These seals will MEET or EXCEED our standards) Unsure which SEAL to use? Rubber Seals – These offer the best protection against the elements. These are easily removable for cleaning purposes. And has the most resistance. Metal Shields – These have significantly less resistance and give you some protection against the elements. Although you can remove the shields, they require a lot more patience and easily damaged. Half & Half – Taking advantage of both worlds, these are perfect for protection while giving less resistance. They allow you to open up the rubber side and clean, while facing the rubber towards the elements for protection. No Shields – This gives the least amount of friction but has ZERO protection against the elements Now that we have your seals picked out, lets talk about getting lubricated! We offer our in-house high performing GREASE, our “Winner Ice” Friction-less bearing oil, Standard Bearing Oil, and No Oil (For Ceramic Ball only) Unsure what to lube to use for them bearings? Do you drive that thing into the mud, pond, sand, etc? Do you drive it till it just falls apart? Ride it hard and put it away wet? If you answered yes, then go GREASE for the best durability. Are you particular in your race setup? Need to get that extra tenth of a second? Clean every race or damn near close to that? Use our signature “WINNER ICE” Friction-less oil. Just casually drive around? Shelf Queen? Or just looking to have fun but not go crazy? Use our STANDARD bearing oil or GREASE. Either one will be great! Using ceramics and want to go crazy and not use any lube? Then select NO OIL for your ceramics!
