Fusible 58" wide *100% Polyester *Great for stabilizing Thiner fabric French Fuse Tricot Fusible Interfacing is a light weight interfacing with a crosswise stretch and lengthwise stability. It's also an economical alternative to Sew Lazy's Face-It Soft fusible Product description French Fuse is a lightweight knit interfacing with one fusible (glue) side and one soft side. This lightweight fabric is very useful to reinforce garment facings, and thin, delicate or stretchy fabrics.Interfacing Weight " Pre-Shrinking All interfacings should be preshrunk. Sew-ins can be preshrunk through a press steaming process. Fusible can be preshrunk by immersing in a bowl of very hot (not boiling) water and allowing to sit until the water cools to room temperature. Gently squeeze, then roll in a towel to remove excess moisture and allow to air dry. Press with a medium heat, dry iron. Test the heat of your iron in one corner first. If the fabric begins to shrink up on itself, lower the heat of your iron to another setting and try again. Machine wash as needed in warm water only after fusing. This Ultra Lightweight Woven Fusible Interfacing IS8030 is suitable for all woven fabrics such as silk dresses, skirts and blouses. This fabric is wonderfully lightweight fusible interfacing that serves protection and body for your garment. Woven from 100% Nylon yarns, this sheer, graceful fabric is pre-treated for easy fusing and has a touch of stretch for added flexibility.Content:100% NylonStructure:Stability in the lengthwise grain and slight give in the cross grain 58/60 Inches Wide 34 grams Fusible - Pre-Treated IS 8030Hand:lightweight and softLuster:This fabric has no shineTips and Tricks:Heat and moisture melt the resin, and pressure pushes it into the fibersRead the instructions with the interfacingCover the pressing surface with paper towels. Place the fabric wrong side up on the paper towelsPlace the interfacing resin side down on the fabricHINT: When fusing to a portion of a section, trim the edge with pinking shears to avoid a demarcation lineCover with a press cloth, dry or wet depending on the instructionsBaste press lightly in several areas if the section is largeNOTE: When working with loosely woven fabrics, the garment section is frequently larger than the interfacing, even though they were cut thy the same pattern. Do not force the edges to match; the fashion fabric has stretched out of shape. If you have cut accurately, the use the interfacing as a guide.Set Iron on WoolBeginning in the center of the section, fuse toward the edges. Press hard with steam, unless the instructions indicate otherwise for 10 to 15 seconds.
