Description: This poster by artist, Nat, was created for a three act operetta in French named Bichu. The operetta was written by lyricists Barencey and Strit, and music composed by Eugene Gavel. The image features a man kicking a flower pot, which is also reflected by the French line that reads “you knock over the flower pot.” Alexis Eugène Gavel (1881-1954) was born in Calais and became a piano teacher. In 1902, he voluntarily joined the army. After the war, he became a music composer. This is an Original Vintage Poster. It is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters. It measures 23" x 31" and is in excellent condition (please note that standard excellent condition allows for very minor handling wear at edges).
