I believe this is a 1963 design There are 8 glass highball tumblers and a bent glass two compartment dish. All are in new and un-used condition which is definitely a rare find. There are no negatives to this set. No cracks No chips No flaking Each glass stands 5.75 inches. Width circumference 3 inches. Dish 13.5 inches in length. Width 6.75 inches. I HAVE NOT ENCOUNTERED THIS EXACT SET ANYWHERE. The original RUBEL AND COMPANY care card is included as well. This set was sold at the KAUFMANNS department store in Pittsburgh. The original box is also included if you would want. The PROVENANCE and condition mentioned immediately above only adds to the allure and collectibility of this exquisite set!! He studied and later taught at the Vesper George School of Art and was the founder of the sculpture collection Contemporary Arts, Inc. In the 1950s, Press moved to New York City where he became chief designer for Rubel and Co. and turned his artistic skills towards glassware and giftware. He was one of the most versatile and prolific of America's 20th Century designers. Press produced hundreds of sculptures and paintings (which are part of the permanent collection of Boston's Museum of Fine Arts) in addition to numerous glassware designs. His product designs won awards from New York's Museum of Modern Art. His unique products and glassware remain popular today. Fred Press died in 2012.
