It is numbered 196/200 and signed beautifully by Bacon in marker. Contains the official Metropolitan Museum of Art embossing in the bottom left corner. It is absolutely enormous and presented in an archival quality UV protected maple frame. The framed piece measures 43.25" x 62.5". To my knowledge, it is the largest limited edition lithograph ever printed of Bacon's work, and it is much more in line with the dimensions of the original painting. This print is a personal favorite of mine and an example of Bacon’s masterful use of contortion and confined interior spaces. The poses of both bodies are quite dynamic and a classic example of his style. This is truly a museum quality piece that will only appreciate in value.
