Description: This original painting is somewhat humorous when inspected closer. Gentleman is trying to evade black dog in yard #1 by vaulting a fence, only to find another dog in yard #2. Framed under glass. I always understood that oil paintings were not to be under glass, and I don't know how to tell difference between oils and acrylics. But, definitely original as 3-D brush strokes readily observed. The naive work is unsigned. Colors are bright, and there are no condition issues. Age unknown. Professionally framed and labelled on the back by Enchanted Galleries, Dallas, Texas. Purchased at a local high-end estate sale. My apologies for providing fewer than normal photographs. I had a devil of a time photographing the image through the glass without reflections. If you require additional photos, please message me, and I will attempt to provide. Dimensions: Framed image is 16.25” tall x 12-1/8" wide x 1” deep. The image visible from the front is 13.5" tall x 9-3/8" wide. Unpacked Weight: 3 lb. 7 oz.Condition: Excellent giftable condition. No mentionable issues on painted image or glass. Frame has a divot on upper back right corner. Otherwise, no marks on frame. Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping. I only charge actual postage, and always use recycled packing materials. Note some photos appear redundant because I take photos from all possible angles. On symmetrical items, these photos may appear redundant when there are no distinguishing differences or condition issues between side views. I gladly accept returns, but please note I do not pay return postage unless there was a significant error in my description. The item listed is being sold as is, as pictured and as described to the best of my knowledge. All dimensions and weights approximate. If you have a question or an assumption on an item prior to purchase, please ask. I much prefer to take the time on the front end to make sure you will be satisfied with your purchase. Remember, when buying vintage expect imperfections as these items have a history and have been in the possession of others. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition – this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
