Description: This Vintage .19ci 3 bolt backplate slanted intake model engine was modified in the past by a Control line flier. Perhaps to make it lighter and/or fit into a speed pan/cowling setup? It has excellent compression and no sloppiness in the mechanical internal mating connections, I.e. Crank pin/conrod/wrist pin/piston. The crank bushing is not all wallowed out but is a nice fit and there is very little end play in the crankshaft. Obvious external modifications are the head has been converted to a flat top head, intake has been modified to slanted which would divert more air flow into the engine, and there are extra mounting holes in the mounting lugs (to perhaps fit a pre drilled existing magnesium pan the flier had and used), also the needle valve snipped short and a flat filed in it (perhaps to fit within a cowl/speed pan setup and then just a hole on the shroud to put a flat head screwdriver through to tube the engine). I believe the screws are aftermarket. Mechanically this engine is sound and has excellent compression. Not sure if there are any internal mods to soup up performance. I did not disassemble as the engine is great as is and needs nothing refurbished. Shipping is $10 for Priority Insured Shipping
