Most digital portable recorders have only 2 inputs, this one has 4 input/output ports, with added flexibility while recording on-site. This recorder works great but the LED display is intermittent - most times it comes on, other times it stays blank, and I don't have the expertise to replace it, so it is sold for parts only - no returns.
