Description: This is more of an oddball geological specimen. Feldspar is near the contact zone with the orebody. The willemite is fluorescent green, the calcite is fluorescent red and the feldspar is a dull reddish purple. UV photos are shortwave, there was a minimal longwave response. Measures 3" x 2" x 2". Weight is 11 oz. or 302 grams. Collected in Franklin, NJ. You must have a 254nm shortwave UV lamp to best view the fluorescent response of this specimen. I always combine shipping whenever possible. UV photos taken with a 70-watt Engenious Designs Nightstick. A flashlight will not give the same response. I ship by 2-day or 3-day USPS Priority Mail. I carefully pad and pack each item securely in a cardboard mailing box. I do not offer a gift box or gift wrapping. I include a label and/or any old labels with each mineral specimen.
