The descriptions are located in the dichotomous key, as opposed to other technical floras where, after you key to species, you then go to a species description. Aside from that, there is no major downside to this flora. It may be a bit outdated (i.e., some species have new classifications), and the illustrations and descriptions a bit small, but it works in the field, fits in your backpack, and isn’t heavy.Size: 10.5" x 7.5" x 1.8"Weight: 3 lbs. 7 oz. Condition: GOOD+. Plastic covered jacket has edge wear and some minor discoloration, a couple inches of the hinge on the inside cover are starting to loosen, and all sides of the text block (outer page edges) with some discoloration/spots, but the inside pages are in very good condition.
