Description: Included is a PJ bass guitar pickup set (Alinco V By Squier) removed from a newer fender squier Jaguar bass (the control plate and potentiometers should fit any jaguar or jazz bass) so I could replace the pickups and potentiometers... Included are the pickups one is a squire jazz bass pickup single coil and the other a fender precision pickup... These form the PJ pickup combination they are also wired up to stack potentiometers mounted on a control plate that will either fit a fender jazz Bass or fender squire Jaguar bass. The front pickup is already pre-wired and I had to disconnect the rear pickup so I could remove it from the bass guitar... these pickups works well, the tone control on the neck pickup gets a little bit of crackle noise when you turn that tone control only ...but other than that these are in great condition and work like any PJ bass pickup combination... That stacked potentiometer can be replaced for only $16 the official fender concentric knobs are all included which have set screws to control where they start and stop... Also included are eight screws to hold the pickups into the bass... Also three screws that attach the control plate to the bass guitar.. and three sponges that will support the bottom of the pickups to hold them closer to the strings... Also included are three hard to find fender squier springs that you put under the pickups to help support the height of the pickup and hold them closer to the strings... PJ pickups sound great because they give you the high pitched sound from the single coil jazz bass pickup and the deeper tones from the split coil precision pickup all combined with a cool '70s feel with concentric knobs...
