Description: Loaded HSS aged pickguard for Fender Stratocaster. It is an 11 hole 3-ply black pickguard that also includes an aged single ply black tremolo cover and an aged black tremolo arm tip. It is in very good to excellent overall condition for a pickguard that is aged. The pickguard, tremolo cover, pickup covers, knobs, 5-way switch tip, and tremolo arm tip are real used old parts taken off of an old guitar and are not artificially aged. The pickguard has Fender Pure Vintage '65 pickups in the neck and middle positions and has a Seymour Duncan SH-8N Invader neck humbucker pickup in the bridge position. The clean and rich spank of the Fender '65 single coil pickups combined with the huge yet warm and restrained sound of the Invader humbucker make for a great combo. The pickguard was built with all premium quality components and pushback cloth vintage style wiring. It is equipped with an aluminum pickguard shield, CRL 5-way switch, pickup height springs (not rubber tubing), MOD .022uf 600v PIO tone capacitor, a treble bleed circuit (.220k resistor & 680pf capacitor), and 300k CTS pots to balance out the higher output from the Invader humbucker pickup. It is also wired using the Lindy Fralin blender wiring schematic which in my opinion is the best single Strat mod and all of my 3 pickup guitars are wired this way. The middle tone knob is the master tone control for the instrument and the bottom tone knob is a CTS blender that blends in a typically unused pickup for the setting on the 5 way switch for an almost infinite color palette of tones. The blender mod makes huge gains for this pickguard by adding in many additional tonal options and combinations of the single coil and humbucker pickups. The Seymour Duncan Invader humbucker provides the perfect crunchy warm boost to compliment the springy Fender Pure Vintage '65 pickups. It is the same style humbucker used in the Tom Delonge signature Strat. See photos #7, #8, & #9 for pics of the underside of the pickguard.
