I have a USA reissue of the same instrument and they both feel very authentic to the 60's Fenders. All original hardware, pickups, etc. 7 lbs 12oz., well balanced while playing standing up.Fenders' history with their imports has players looking for these late 80's early 90's -Made in Japan models.Today's imported models come from Mexico. And they make a good guitar. You be the judge. Ser# dates this "O" model to 1993-94. Predates the later"Crafted in Japan" models.Condition: There are a very few finish"nicks" which I have tried to photograph. They are not a big deal, especially with the black finish. Various finish swirls, and light scratches can be seen in person, they dont show up with photography. Frets are at 85% ofnew. Typical lower fretboard E,D,G,A minor wear with no fretting out.The headstock edges are clean except for under the low E tuner where there is a bit of rash. .Someone took good care of this guitar. One thing to note on condition. Fender tinted the maple finish to look more aged. The amber you see in the neck is really awsome compared with todays very white, clear finishes. Kluson style tuners, vintage tremelo bar, 4 bolt neck plate, mint green pickguard.Ships in a vintage Fender hard case, and very well packed.
