Fits 1997 on up SX, SXR, VENTURE, XTC, XT, pretty much any Yamaha snowmobile from 1977 and up with a noise/pre filter! After using and racing Yamaha snowmobiles for almost 40 years, we devised a better foam that is more resistant to rot, fuels, and deterioration. We worked with a foam company to come up with this particulate foam to better stop snow and debris but yet allows for more airflow than factory foam. We stand behind what we sell! This part is pretty important as it pre-filters intake air. Stops all the cattails and snow from going into carbs or under hood filter. When yours deteriorates, all the particles end up in the carbs causing more problems. These particular noise filters will not harm internal engine components unlike others listed online! It is also more durable and higher quality. This will last a lot longer than most others or factory filters.
