Description: An exceptional and exceptionally unique estate fresh antique table runner. This runner is twelve feet long! It’s made of hand loomed/home spun linen. The linen appears to have a natural dye. It’s been speculated it could be black walnut dyed. Some back and forth about it’s age and origin has happened between knowledgeable antique aficionados. Possibly American and relatively early, or possibly American Arts & Crafts era (1860-1900) some say. Another thinks possibly northern or Eastern European. The most similar looking pattern I saw was Scandinavian but alas I cannot find it again. The condition is very good considering it’s quite old and of a relatively delicate material. I think it was cared for very well and probably used sparingly. It will look amazing on someone’s long dining table or sideboard. If you think you have some information about it’s origins please let me know. Shipping will be ASAP! It would be a great thing to have out at the holidays. Thanks
