Description: Lot is for a vintage chess set from N.E.C. Corporation, the ES-KAPADE TOURNAMENT CHESS SET NO. 1600 featuring Staunton design and with 3 5/8" kings. The pieces are black and white. Game includes 32 weighted pieces, vinyl storage bag, board and instruction booklet. Game is in good shape, board is excellent. The white king is missing the topper, but other pieces are in great shape. Box has wear and handling expected for age, with some foxing on the box and a small rip in the cardboard in the upper left middle, but it doesn't significantly affect the overall appearance (see photos). A nice vintage chess game!
