D.Miller June 4, 1889 A very unusual production prepared as a record/souvenir of their golden wedding anniversary with six poems in English and Latin and five photographs, The first is a photo of a wax relief miniature of Dixwell as a young man (currently in the Smithsonian), the second the photo of his wife as a young woman, than a photo of their home and final photos of both of them in about 1889. The book is printed on stiff think paper and the binding is full vellum exceptional gilt tooled flowers on the front and rear cover. Dixwell was the master of the Boston Latin School from 1836-1851.
