The base says that the leather exterior is " real hide" and " made in England". The front of the tankard has an elevated English coat of arms applique. The handle is also made of hide and is attached with metal studs. The hide exterior is removable. Unable to identify the exact age of this piece but it is vintage and likely pre- owned. It is clean internally. The leather exterior shows some signs of age. It has a few areas with light staining and has the odd little scratch here and there, however is is a lovely piece. Height 3.75” Diameter at bottom 3.5” Diameter at top 3.25” Smoke-free and pet-free home.
