Description: The Wand This is a lovely English Hazel wood wand made from a piece of Hazel wood we found close to Glastonbury, The Isle of Avalon. The wand was carved by hand, and we pyrographed a pattern off spirals along its length and the ogham symbol associated with hazel onto its end. The wand measures about 12.5 inches in length, and comes with a free wand bag made from upcycled fabric. Hazel is one of the trees of the Celtic Tree ogham and is associated with wisdom. It is one of the most favoured, traditional woods for making wands from.
