Description: This framed original hand signed water color painting of St George Street in St Augustine, FL by Emmett Fritz is one of his “mud paintings.” In 1984, he collected some of the 17th century soil from an excavation of St George St, the oldest street in America, and mixed it with paint. He used this paint to produce street scenes like this one. It is framed and matted in a neutral wooden frame with anti-glare glass. The painting measures 7x10” and framed, it measures approximately 16x19”. I am listing another watercolor from this series, so please view my other listings.
