All I can say is: read the manual and you will see how the options abound. Want to wake up to music, then alarm, you can do that! Want to wake up to music and then music again? You can do that as well. What if you want to torture yourself first with an alarm and then soothe your pain with music? You can also do that! All features are easy and intuitive to set up. For some reason, then engineers made the volume dial do the reverse of what you would expect: turn the dial downwards for higher volume and upwards to lower volume. Was that just an inside joke or a design that matched how drowsy people think and naturally behave when reclining (think about it: when you're reclining it's just harder to dial upwards than downwards)? What I particularly love about this device is the red LED tuning dial indicator and the fact that at a glance there is an LED lit up to tell you what day of the week it is.
