Description: Description Eliahu Inbal Berlioz Symphonie fantastique 2 SACD Hybrid TOWER RECORDSProduct introduction A revolutionary masterpiece, Symphonie Fantastique, colored by innovative orchestral techniques. A valuable recording that combines the sequel, Lelio. Inbal's deep interpretations will capture every corner of the score. A masterpiece that was selected as a special selection by Record Geijutsu. Made into high resolution using ORT mastering technology originally developed by Nippon Columbia, and made into SACD for the first time. The sound field and sound quality have been improved vividly. The CD layer also used this mastering sound source. The duo Inbal and Nippon Columbia, who had achieved worldwide success with Mahler's complete symphonies, next began recording works by Berlioz. This proposal came from Inbal, and at Nippon Columbia at the time, the mainstream German sound sources including Beethoven were Suitner from the former East Germany, but Inbal's innovative interpretation of German-style performances was expected. At first, he was reluctant to do so. However, it seems that production began taking into consideration that Berlioz was not in Nippon Columbia's catalog at the time, and that recording costs could be kept low by co-producing with Hessian Radio. However, midway through Mahler's one-point recording became highly acclaimed, and it may have been supported by Berlioz's challenge to the grand orchestration. At the time, Nippon Columbia's recording team was planning to bring in a Mitsubishi 32-channel digital recorder for recording in addition to the company's conventional 4-channel PCM recorder. Due to their confidence in recording and the fact that Inbal was in his early 50s, it was a time when new actions were likely to occur, so projects continued to overlap. This Berlioz work, like Mahler's, will be recorded as a set with the regular concerts of "Symphonie Fantastique" and "Leliot" in September 1987. As the works that Inbal and Nippon Columbia recorded following Mahler's, ''Symphony Fantastique'' and ''Lelio'' became a hot topic from the time they were released. Not only are there no concerns about the fact that this is a French piece performed by a German orchestra, but due to the high level of ties that the two parties have built with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, the sound source is not just a high-quality recording aimed at a performance effect, but rather a sound source that captures the inner meaning of the song. This is an album that was rather praised for its in-depth performance. In addition, the addition of "Lelio", which had not been recorded often until then, had a great effect, and was welcomed because listening to it together deepened the understanding of the work. It can be said that it is still the best sound source as a recording that includes "Lelio", which has very few performance opportunities. Originally, this work has a large proportion of narration, but the beautiful sound and performance effects typical of Berlioz are tremendous, and the dynamic expressions and deep bass, including the ''Symphony Fantastique'', make it an extremely interesting sound source as an audio file. This well-established recording will be reprinted as the latest SACD sound source for the first time.Work information Conductor: Eliahu Inbal Orchestra: Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra Performing groups: Frankfurt Choir, Freiburg Vocal Ensemble Tenor: Keith Lewis Baritone: Walton Glennroth Composer: Hector BerliozContents Number of components | 2 pieces Track Listing Hector Berlioz Disc 1 1.
