You don't have to run cables between the sub and speaker array; audio connectivity between them is made via internal cabling in the mounting pole. The column array ships with the sub pole and a carrying case. The powered subwoofer utilizes a 12" driver and is powered by the integrated 1000W (500W to subwoofer) amplifier, which combines with the column array to provide a frequency response of 43 Hz to 20 kHz with a maximum SPL output of 127 dB.
