EBC replaced those materials with a stainless powder and removed several other particles to prevent disc damage. After 5 years and millions of sets sold, EBC upgraded the formulation again due to the development of SB101C material which completely eliminates brake noise, improves the head cycling, and provides a good feel. What EBC has today for the faster rider is the pinnacle of sintered copper allow engineering. Now ECE R90 approved.
