DIMENSIONS: 36" Width x 29" Height DESCRIPTION: For sale is this really great, large folio, early 20th century American vintage Ohman's educational/institutional, color lithographed, scrolled paper wall map, with 'Cotes Master Loaf' bread top banner advertisement. The c.1930 topographical paper map is of the continental United States and doesn't include Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or Guam. The color lithography is superb, with undiminished bright, vivid, saturated colors. Mountain ranges, lakes and city locations are described in tremendous detail. The top quarter of the scroll is dedicated to the 'Cotes Master Loaf' advertising banner. The back of the map is populated with railroad information, as well as city founding dates. The map is well-preserved, with minimal fraying at either of the map's paper edges, usually witnessed from repeated use and rolling and unrolling the scrolled map over the years. The detailed cartography and description of elevations, rivers and lakes is outstanding, as is the use of color to differentiate low and high lying areas. Superb color, size and condition. A terrific map and a terrific piece of vintage American early mercantile advertising. Really wonderful. CONDITION:Good to Very Good overall vintage condition.
