Description: This vintage two-piece compote set is a magnificent addition to any collection. This oval shaped piece was manufactured in America in 1870 by Gillinder & Sons. It stands 6 inches tall and has a diameter of 4 inches. The lid completes the set, which features the Westward Ho Tippecanoe pattern and a Victorian style. The top of the lid is a Native American person, and the compote has mountains, cabins an trees on one side and deers on the other. The top is clear glass and the bottom is frosted glass. This decorative piece is perfect for all occasions and would complement any home decor. It is an antique that has been well cared for, and its quality is evident in its weight of 2.6 lbs.
