This muffler does not have a spark arrestor screen on the front open port, so use at your own risk. It does come with a new gasket. The original single top port is still open and a new larger front port has been tig welded in making it a dual port muffler. Again this is a great sounding muffler and helps keep the saw cooler as well. Thanks for looking!
