Description: A small painting, likely egg tempera on Masonite, a medium employed often by the artist, 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" (7 1/2" by 8 1/2" nicely framed), the subject old homes/outbuildings in a New Mexico landscape, signed lower right and on reverse is written "All reproduction rights are retained by the artist" and signed again there, by the noted late New Mexico artist Doris Steider Brummell (1924-2010). Brummell is mentioned in newspaper accounts from the mid 1960's. She went on to have at least 80 solo shows of her work; a street is named after her in Albuquerque. Her generally small paintings have been offered and sold at auction.
