Vogue Magazine called it one of the top collections of the seasons, inspired by "La Dolce Vita meets Swinging London" and specifically highlighted this exact "narrow skirt with contrast banding picked out in fur." The skirt features a louche low waist that drips seductively off the hips, a narrow fit through the hip, and a slim pencil fit down the leg - the hemline trim has a narrow 30" circumference which creates that sexy balloon effect as you walk. The structured waistband is lavished in couture-quality black astrakhan fur (one of the world's most expensive) and rich black velvet, and it is given a bit of rock n roll energy with those bands of silver studs. The hemline band is done in black velvet and silver studs. The base of the skirt is a luscious quilted 100% silk satin in a nude champagne color - it's heavy and rich, super-luxe - which is covered in pleated black silk chiffon. The nude silk peeks out from the hemline, very subtle and very sensual! The skirt is marked a size 42 which is normally a US 8, but because of the slim fit I would recommend it for a size 4/6 - please check measurements. It comes from the closet of a private collector who never got to wear it because the cut is narrow and has been in cold storage so the fur is pristine.
