From a solicitation de: “Comic book version of the Disney adventure cartoon series which originally aired from the late 1980s to the early 1990s and featured Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Launchpad and others. In this issue, Scrooge and company go out on a cruise on his new yacht and discover that the Beagle Boys are stealing oil from offshore oil rigs in "The Oil Pirates." Clangor, the world's foremost promoter of rock concerts, doesn't like it and is determined to sabotage the act in "The Whistling Ghost." Script and art by William Van Horn. Issue also has a reprint of the Uncle Scrooge classic tale "Interplanetary Postman" in which Scrooge is fed up with the mail service and decides to run the business himself. Script by John Lustig and art by William Van Horn. Issue also has reprint of the Carl Barks' Gyro Gearloose one-page gag strips "The Odd Order" and "The Bird Camera" and the Uncle Scrooge classic tale "Cave of Ali Baba" in which Scrooge and company search for the famed treasure. Then in "The Magic Lamp," Scrooge buys a lamp at a flea market that does a lot more than just provide lighting. Script by Frank Ridgeway & Byron Erickson and art by the Jamie Diaz Studios.
