Description: This statue by Design Toscano is the Angel of Contemplation, originally sculpted in Italy before the turn of the century. The statue features a baby cherub Angel sitting with his feet crossed, his left hand up to his mouth and looking upward in great thought. Made of durable weather resistant resin in off-white with an antique stone finish, the statue has dark intentional markings and accents applied throughout giving life-like features to the baby cherub Angel’s face, hair and body. Great detailing has also been applied to the out-stretched wings on the baby cherub Angel’s back. All applied markings and accents give the statue an antique and vintage look, making it even more precious and full of charm. Statue sits on a white distressed wood stool measuring 7 1/4” high, 6 1/4” wide and 6 1/4” deep. The statue is heavy at just under 2 pounds and the dimensions are 8” long, 12 1/2” high and 6 1/2” wide. Both the baby cherub Angel statue and the distressed wood stool are New, neither have been used or displayed. There are no chips or cracks on either piece and there have been no repairs made to either piece. See all photos.
