Here we have an attractive and rare specimen of the hydrated lead and copper vanadium oxide mineral mottramite crystals along with some descloizite crystals from Namibia. This is a relatively new find from Namibia. The mottramite forms as sharply formed crystals that have a dark brownish color. The mottramite crystals are lustrous. The descloizite (Pb Zn (VO4)(OH)) crystals are small but sharply formed and are a reddish to reddish-brown color and lustrous. Photography All of our photos are taken with a 75Watt GE True White incandescent bulb. (unless otherwise stated). (too large to fit inside a 3 inch cube) Look for -CAB in our titles.
