According to Wikipedia: Business Danmark is a Danish trade union and unemployment insurance fund that primarily organizes employees and managers within sales, marketing and consulting. The association is outside the main organizations and is usually considered to be the so-called "yellow unions". The association thus does not negotiate collective agreements, but offers members help to negotiate their own individual wage agreements. In addition, the association offers i.a. members legal advice, coaching, networking, education and unemployment insurance. The association was founded in 1949 as Danmarks Aktive Handelsrejsende (DAH). That association built on the Fællesrepræsentationen for Danske Handelsrejsende, which was founded in 1901. The joint representation was an association of a number of local associations for business travelers, but only with DAH did the business travelers get a real trade union. In 1996, the name was changed to Danske Sælgere, and in 2006 the union got its current name. Simultaneously with the name change, the union began to admit marketing staff as members. According to its own website, Business Danmark has just over 30,000 members (2014). According to Danmarks Statistik, the association had 21,376 labor market-affiliated members in 2014.
