Unit features a full 512MB of Ultra-High speed DDR memory, much more than enough for Windows 98SE. (Windows 98SE was not designed to handle anything over 512MB) Windows 98 Splash Screen has been updated to reflect the "Distributed by: Dell" Microsoft" "Windows 98Plus!" The 1.44 floppy drive has been verified to be in good working order. Excellent for playing all those classic games! Unit will work with USB 2.0 thumb drives, for easy transfer of software from newer systems. Please remove USB drives when restarting computer. A PCI 10/100/1000 Ethernet Port is fully functional, and IE will load to the Google homepage This is running on the Intel 845GL Video board with 8MB of video memory. This is more than adequate for most DOS games and the vast majority of Windows 98SE games. MS-DOS mode has optical drivers loaded. Unit can be booted to a standard DOS prompt for low-level software or gaming & can also be shutdown to MS-DOS mode This system was carefully tested and all devices, device drivers, etc. are loaded correctly with no device conflicts.
