Dealer Dave Records Special Collection, ANNIE, ORIGINAL, 1977, EX+/EX+ (232)

Description: I COMBINE SHIPPING TO SAVE YOU $$$ You will get the lowest shipping rate with Dealer Dave This album is from a 400+ album curated collection from a collector and devoted music lover in my family. It was his lifelong hobby...a special collection. The records have been handled with meticulous care. Albums from the 1950's and 60's saw some play on a good turntable. When cassettes were mainstream in the 1970's, all albums were played to transfer to cassette... and played once more to transfer to CD when they became available – the albums were then shelved. The records have been in a smoke-free environment. Because I know the level of care these albums received, and to save hours of time, I am listening to one side and visually grading the other. The sound is remarkable on most – as suspected. (I use an Audio-Technics AT LP1240 USB with a $125 needle.) I have not cleaned these records, I will leave that up to you and your system. In their current condition you may hear some normal light 'record sounds' in the quiet spots and between songs. If you have any issues with any of these records, simply let me know and I will make it right...Your satisfaction is guaranteed. I managed and graded records at COOP Records in Gainesville, FL in the 1970's. • This is the exact item you will receive • Nice shiny vinyl • Small inventory sticker on cover, top left • Not all albums were issued with an original inside record sleeve. You will receive either the original sleeve or I will supply one to you. • Money back guarantee, you can order with confidence • If I can answer any questions you have or help you in any way, please contact me through Ebay Dealer Dave's Record Grading I base my visual grading on the industry standard GOLDMINE system. I have experience grading records in the 1970's when I managed COOP Records in Gainesville, FL, and selling 100's of my personal albums on Ebay. This record was meticulously cared for by a long-time collector in my immediate family. I feel confident, to save hours of time, to visually grade it. If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me immediatly. Your satisfaction is guarateed. MINT (M) Record, cover and all inclusives are absolutely perfect. Rarely used grade if at all. NEAR MINT (NM) A nearly perfect record. Record- It should look like you just bought it and took it out of the shrink wrap. The vinyl looks glossy and clean with no signs of wear or major factory defects. Cover- The jacket is clean with no wear marks, ring marks or seam splits. Inserts, posters, lyric sheets etc. are equally in this condition. No cut-outs. EXCELLENT (EX) Record will show some signs that it has been played and otherwise handled by an owner that took good care of it. Record - You may see light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times. Light scuffs, inaudible light scratches, or slight warps are acceptable, but nothing that compromises the listening experience. Minor spindle marks may be present, but no widening of the hole due to repeated play. Label may have some wear or discoloration, but not that noticeable. Cover- Cover should look appealing with slight signs of wear. Expect some edge wear such as wear from sliding in and out of a shelf, light wear from storing next to other records, light ring marks, small splits in seams (no more than 1-2). Cut-outs are acceptable. Inner sleeves, picture sleeves, posters, etc. will show some light wear such as slight seam splits, and turned up corners. VERY GOOD (VG) Very Good graded records has more obvious imperfections than Excellent. Record- Expect more noticeable scuffing, scratches that you can feel if you run your fingernail lightly over them, visible groove wear, lack of original luster on the vinyl, pronounced warps. Heavier spindle marks may be present. There will be audible scratches and ticks, some background noise and heavier cracks or pops in the quieter parts, but overall, still not enough to discourage the average listener. Cover- VG covers will show more wear from handling. Also expect light ring wear marks, split seams that may not be that obvious until inspection, taped seams, some staining, writing, price stickers. It would be acceptable to most collectors to frame a VG cover because it will still look decent at a short distance. GOOD (G) Probably not a record that you will want to listen to much unless it is rare Record- Lots of obvious use. Heavy visible wear including possible label wear. Very pronounced visible scratches and scuffs. The record will play without skipping or getting stuck, but unless it is a rare or hard-to-find record, will be noisier than you would like. Cover- G covers will have heavy ring marks, dirt, heavy writing, obvious seam splits, heavy stains, taped repairs, ink fading, etc. The best way to put it...you wouldnt want to frame and display this one. POOR (P) The difference from Good and Poor are as follows: Record- Unplayable. Cracked, horribly warped, nasty. Dont damage your needle on this. Cover- Heavily damaged.
