Few light creases, corner margin chipped, small stain in upper corner. Very good. Housed in contemporary, black paper folder which is stained and worn. Wonderful Darius Kinsey photograph of the Phoenix Logging Co. in Potlatch, Washington after loading several cars worth of logs behind a steam locomotive. The company was incorporated by Sol Simpson and Alfred Anderong in 1899 and worked on timber north of the Skokomish River in Mason County, based out of Potlatch and with offices in Seattle. This is one of many images of the Phoenix company taken by Darius Kinsey and is notable in that it includes a logging scene complete with train, both subjects for which Kinsey was well known.
